Rob Hayworth: Board Chairman
Rob Hayworth joined Northwestern Mutual in 2001 as a Wealth Management Advisor after working for 2 other financial services institutions prior to that. He is a 1999 Taylor University graduate with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration concentrating in Finance and has a Psychology minor. He has obtained several financial planning designations from the American College throughout his tenure including CLU, ChFC, CASL, AEP. He is also FINRA securities licensed Series 7, 63 and 66. He is an active member of Fellowship Missionary Church. Rob is married to Jenny and together they have four active children.
Joel Nichols: Board Vice-Chairman
Joel Nichols is an entrepreneur by nature. Challenging the status and looking at things differently is his core strength. He currently owns multiple companies, including Apollo Design Technology, Blue Pony Digital, Jasperdaily.com, and Avid Labs. Mr. Nichols attended Purdue University. He is an active member at Suburban Bethlehem Church, having served on the school board and participated as elder and head elder. Joel and his wife Keersten have one married son, two sons and two grandchildren.
Lisa Isenbarger: Treasurer
Lisa has been a CPA for more than 25 years and has two Business Valuation credentials. A graduate of IPFW, she is the Director of Business Valuation Services at Haines, Isenbarger & Skiba, LLC. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Indiana CPA Society, National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts, and the Fort Wayne Estate Planning Council. Lisa attends Pathway Community Church, where she leads a Women’s Bible Study. She enjoys reading, traveling and spending time with family and friends.
Kelly Byrd: Board Director
Kelly Byrd was raised in both central and southern California and graduated from The Master’s College in 1986 with a BA in Biblical Studies. He received his Masters of Divinity from The Masters Seminary in 1990. He came to Ft. Wayne in 1996 as the Small Group’s Pastor of Blackhawk Ministries and became Blackhawk’s Sr. Pastor in December of 1999. While at Blackhawk, his primary areas of ministry were in the teaching and leading arenas. As a strong Leadership Development advocate, Kelly’s greatest desire was to see current leaders strengthened while inspiring future leaders to reach their optimal potential. Kelly left Blackhawk in August of 2014 and now serves as the Director of Leadership Development and Personal Growth at Sweetwater Sound in Fort Wayne. Kelly also continues to give oversight and direction to Willow Creek’s Global Leadership Summit here in the Fort Wayne region. He’s been married to his wife Kebra for 27 years and they have five children ranging in age from 12 to 22.
Tondra is it graduate of Taylor University, completing her B.S in Accounting & Systems in 2001 and her Masters in 2004. After almost 2 decades in the for-profit realm, divided between Public Accounting, Corporate Finance at Raytheon, and most recently serving as Controller for a local company, she made the decision to take her Accounting and Systems experience to the nonprofit world. In 2018, she joined the Finance Leadership group at TEAM, The Evangelical Alliance Mission, out of Wheaton, Illinois. She is an active member of Fellowship Missionary Church, a devoted follower of Christ, a native of Fort Wayne, an avid reader, an absorber of nature, and a lover of people. She divides her free time between her family and serving wherever God leads.
Scott Figgins: Board Director
Scott Figgins joined Brotherhood Mutual in 1989 as a claims adjuster. He was promoted to claims supervisor in 1995 and vice president of claims in 1997. He assumed his current responsibilities as vice president of underwriting in January 2009. Figgins earned a master’s degree in business administration from Taylor University in 2007 and has served as an adjunct faculty member of the Taylor University MBA program. He also holds an associate’s degree in criminal justice and a bachelor’s degree in public administration from Indiana University. He received his paralegal certification in 1989 and his CPCU in 1993. Figgins has served on the Indiana Insurance Institute Claims Committee and on multiple boards. He is an active member of Fellowship Missionary Church.
Alan currently serves as a middle school principal within Fort Wayne Community Schools. He has been a school leader for over 12 years and continues to have a passion supporting students and families alike. He was born and raised in Muncie, IN and is a graduate of Taylor University where he also is inducted into the sports Hall of Fame for basketball. He received his Master’s In School Leadership at IPFW. Alan and his wife, Jacalyn, actively attend Fellowship Missionary Church. They love living in the growing downtown area of Fort Wayne where they are raising two children and expecting twins around the holidays!
Derek Laliberte: Board Director
Originally from Minnesota, Derek Laliberte would describe himself as a “yes” man, saying yes to everything that he can do to make a difference in the lives of others while saying “no” to what the world wants him to be. As part owner in a successful Sandler Sales Consulting Franchise, Derek uses networking as another means to share just how impactful Christ can be in a life when He is the center of it. As a member of Fort Wayne’s 2015 Class of 40 under 40, Derek is also involved in several other organizations in and around Fort Wayne. Derek serves on the advisory committee for The Landing: A recovery program for young adults, a ministry leader for Celebrate Recovery, a volunteer at The Center for Whitley County Youth, a member of the Community Support Team for Youth For Christ and a youth sports coach at his local YMCA year round. Derek is also the founder of the MoStars FW, a local Movember team promoting awareness for men’s health issues such as prostate and testicular cancer raising close to $75,000 for the cause. Derek is happily married to his wife Ami and resides in Columbia City with their two children Avery and Chase.
Ross McCampbell: Board Director
Ross is the Executive Director of WBCL and has been with the ministry for over 23 years. He was born and raised in southwest Ohio and is a graduate of The Ohio State University. Ross and his wife, April, made their home in Fort Wayne and are currently restoring a 100+ year old farm house.. Ross enjoys following Buckeye basketball and football.
Devon McDonald: Board Director
Devon has served as the CEO of Sports World since 2011, driving the mission to encourage positive choices while challenging today’s youth with the message of hope. Prior to serving at Sports World, Devon played football in the NFL and was a personal trainer. Devon, a native of Jamaica, moved to the US when he was only 11-years-old. Devon’s skills and hard work on the football field led him to play college football at the University of Notre Dame. Devon assisted his team in winning a National Championship in 1988 and was then drafted by the Indianapolis Colts in the fourth round of the 1993 NFL Draft. In his rookie reason, Colts fans honored Devon as the “Unsung Hero of the Year.” After 9 years in the NFL with the Indianapolis Colts and Arizon Cardinals along with playing Arena Football for the Tampa Bay Storm, Devon retired from playing football. Devon holds a bachelor degree in American Studies from the University of Notre Dame. He is married to Sports World’s COO, Shereasher, and they have two daughters, Jazzmine and Rachel. In his free time, Devon enjoys reading, playing golf, and fishing. .
Laura Murphy: Board Director
Laura Murphy serves as the Vice President of Child and Adult Services at Park Center, Inc. Laura has experience working in various settings including: outpatient, community, schools, residential, and in home services. Laura holds a Masters Degree from Ball State University in Counseling Psychology and has taken an interest in furthering the efforts of Trauma Informed Care across Allen County. Laura is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and holds certification in Trauma Focused-CBT. She is also a Certified Sexually Abusive Youth Clinician. Laura enjoys speaking about mental health and trauma in the community and has provided training on these topics for Great Kids Make Great Communities, Mental Health America, ACJC, Fort Wayne Community Schools and Erin’s House for Grieving Children. Laura attends Pathway Community Church with her husband, David, where they also serve in the children’s ministry.
Clinton Faupel: RemedyLIVE Executive Director
Clinton has served both youth and families for 25 years. Part of Clinton’s role as Executive Director allows him the privilege of telling others about partnership opportunities as well as using his ordained, pastoral background to bring ministry components to what RemedyLIVE does. Whether it’s a school assembly, a speaking event, or one of our online programs, Clinton brings a transparent, no holds barred approach to purposeful living. Locally or nationally, Clinton’ s commitment is to share his passion for web ministry and the one-of-a-kind web station that RemedyLIVE is. Clinton speaks often around the country as the RemedyLIVE Ambassador and acts as Executive Producer on all of the RemedyLIVE content.
